In the evening
During service the phone stays in my pocket. Bookings from the website go into the diary with the party size and any notes, and I look at them after we close.
On Friday afternoon
The WhatsApp reminder goes out by itself to everyone booked for the weekend. If someone cancels, I see it straight away and free the table from my dashboard.
When a regular comes back
The client records show where they sat last time and the note I left. I welcome them already knowing what they like.
